Best Booking Systems in 2026: Features and Pricing Compared

Choosing a booking system and your head is spinning? No wonder. The market is packed with tools and every one of them claims to be the best. The truth is simple – the „best“ system does not exist. Only the one that fits your salon, your clients and your budget does.

In this article we compare, without sugar-coating, six booking systems you will actually come across on the Slovak and Czech market today – EASYBOOKING, Bookio, Booqme, Reservio, Reenio and Notino Partner. And yes, we admit it upfront: EASYBOOKING is our product. That is exactly why we list not only its strengths, but fairly also where it falls short. A comparison that hides the downsides is useless to you.

What we compared

To make the comparison meaningful, we focused on what really decides whether a system makes your life easier or adds headaches:

  • Price – how much you really pay per month and whether „free“ hides commissions or fees.
  • Whether all features are included – or you have to pay extra for important things in higher tiers.
  • Free plan – whether you can try the system before you pay.
  • Online payments and SMS reminders – the two tools that cut no-shows the most.
  • Own booking page or widget – whether clients book straight from your website and Instagram.
  • Marketplace – a public directory through which brand-new clients can find you.
  • Origin and support – whether you have someone to call in your language if something goes wrong.

Pros and cons of each system

EASYBOOKING

Our product. A Slovak booking system built for service businesses – hair salons, beauty studios, wellness, barbers and car services. It is based on a simple principle: one flat fee that includes everything, and you build your own brand rather than being a line in someone else’s catalogue.

Pros:

  • The base plan at 6.90 € includes every feature – nothing is locked behind higher tiers.
  • A free plan with no time limit – try the system live until you decide.
  • Your own booking page, gift vouchers, passes, group bookings and smart features.
  • Online payments via GoPay, SMS reminders, Google and Apple calendar sync, support in Slovak.

Cons:

  • The free plan has limited features – the full power comes with a paid plan.
  • No large public marketplace – you bring new clients in through your own website and social media.
  • A younger brand than the multinational players.

Bookio

An established Slovak system with a broad scope – from restaurants and hotels through salons to clinics. It has a free freemium plan and strong local roots.

Pros:

  • Freemium free for up to 100 bookings per month, plus 30 days to test the full version.
  • A proven player with plenty of references and Slovak-language support.
  • Online payments, SMS and e-mail reminders, statistics.

Cons:

  • Getting started is not a few clicks – Bookio onboarding runs through a contract and setup usually with their support, so the path from decision to first booking is longer than with self-service systems.
  • A commission applies to online payment processing, and its amount is not transparently published.
  • The very broad scope means it is not tightly tailored to beauty alone.

Booqme

A Slovak system with a clear, publicly available price list and four packages. Strong for rentals as well as classic services.

Pros:

  • Transparent pricing – from a free Starter (50 bookings/mo.) up to Ultimate.
  • Unlimited staff and clients even in the cheaper packages.
  • Digital loyalty cards (Apple/Google Wallet), gift vouchers, QR widget.

Cons:

  • The Lite plan at 6.90 € caps you at 100 bookings/month – unlimited bookings only in the top Ultimate package.
  • Primarily focused on barbershops.
  • Some features (add-on services, customer tags, logo removal, …) only in a more expensive package.

Reservio

An established Czech platform with a wide feature set, a mobile app and its own directory through which new clients can find you.

Pros:

  • A free plan to try it out and an embeddable widget for your website.
  • Mobile app, POS features, automated reminders.
  • Its own salon directory helps with visibility.

Cons:

  • SMS reminders are available only in paid plans.
  • The wide range of features can feel complex for a small solo salon.
  • Support is more international than local.

Reenio

A versatile Czech system that handles not only classic bookings but also ticket sales and seated events. It runs on the Microsoft Azure cloud.

Pros:

  • A free plan with no time limit (up to 50 bookings per month).
  • Highly versatile – sports, courses, events, tickets and services.
  • API and a credit system – you pay only for what you use.

Cons:

  • The booking form can be customised only to a limited degree.
  • It does not support individual messages per service – a problem with a wide range of treatments.
  • The versatility means a steeper learning curve.

Notino Partner

A free booking system from Notino, connected to its large beauty marketplace. It works primarily as a mobile app.

Pros:

  • Completely free, with no monthly fees.
  • Connection to the Notino marketplace – new clients who are already searching for services can find you.
  • A clear mobile app, statistics, reviews, a waiting list and a blacklist.

Cons:

  • You are tied to the Notino ecosystem – booking happens in its app, not under your own brand.
  • The client becomes a user of the Notino app and their data as a user falls under Notino’s consumer privacy terms, including marketing messages.
  • The model is built on commission from your clients‘ purchases on the Notino e-shop.
  • An app-centric solution, focused mainly on beauty and wellness.

How to choose the right system

Instead of asking „which is the best“, ask „what do I need“. A few simple scenarios:

  • You are starting out and want to try first – get going on a free plan (EASYBOOKING, Booqme Starter, Reenio, Bookio freemium or Notino Partner) and test whether online booking suits you.
  • You want predictable pricing and everything in one flat fee – go for a system with a fixed price and all features included, like EASYBOOKING, where you do not pay extra for the important things.
  • Your priority is discovering brand-new clients – consider a system with a marketplace (Notino Partner or Reservio).
  • You sell tickets or run events – Reenio or Bookio handle the more complex scenarios too.
  • You run a salon with a wide service portfolio and a team – choose a service-focused system with individual treatment settings, for example EASYBOOKING or Booqme.

Most systems have a free plan or a trial. Do not decide from your desk. Try two or three candidates live and watch which one makes your everyday work easiest.

Try EASYBOOKING for free. Your own booking page, online payments, SMS reminders and a smart calendar – one flat fee, all features, no commitment. Because your time has value. Get started for free
